Established Columbia company seeks applicants for an Accounting Associate position.

The position requires assisting in a variety of computer-based accounting functions including data entry, inventory management and control, billing, posting, tax entity filings, account reconciliations and more. Some filing and administrative duties also required. Successful candidate should be comfortable working in a briskly-paced, busy environment. Attention to detail is critical.

Candidates should have a least two years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, a stable work history to include an excellent work attendance record, and aptitude for Excel, and 10-key skills. Experience in the wholesale/retail petroleum field is a plus, but not required.
